Screaming Metal (sorry Joe....)

I'm trying to start metal screaming, but it's alot harder than you think. At first, you gotta sing (easy huh?). Then make you voice heavier and heavier sounding until you sound like krusty the clown. Then you pretty much keep doing that until you can barely even hear the pitch anymore. Its alot harder than it sounds. If you've tried it or try it now, you'll realize that. But I'm trying to do it. I've heard it's not supposed to hurt, or your doing it wrong. But you always have to keep hydrated ...

An Ultimate Record

Yesterday night I listened to Evanescence's first release, Fallen, three times. Straight. This behavior is not unusual for me when listening to this record. This CD remains to be the only record I can listen to dozens of times without getting bored. I bought the disc at least two years ago and play it still on a regular basis. I think a lot of other people have an 'ultimate CD' like this, probably a different one, and I also think the reasons people inherently like those records vary from ...

And dude, would bury us all get you tired? It seems like it because it is just constant, well most songs the drums don't stop, but this one seems hard and a little bit exhausting.

Well. For some reason, the topic always comes up in music forums of people's favorite musical artists. So. You guys started talking about that in the other thread and I felt that it was such a huge potential discussion I had to start another topic on it. But here are my general ideas, (plus it really has not much to do w/ the other thread).

My favorite artists have changed a lot over the years. But consistantly, my favorite artists have shared some traits.

individuality (uniqueness)

playability ...

I like...

Money

Wish You Were Here

comfortably numb

Eclipse

The great gig in the sky

another brick in the wall (pt 2)

anyways what this topic is about is what are your songs that you like by Pink Floyd.

I was wondering because when you guys tell me good songs its takes less effort to get good songs than listening to all the songs(i will do this eventually)

thanks and btw if everyone has done thier posts and no one has anything ...

I walked in and I was not going to buy a pedal. And if I saw something I liked I was going to buy it later. Well a few minutes later this guy was showing me a pedal, I agreed to buy, and he was just saying: "Oh if you have that you need this...oh and if you have this you need these..." I was like OK! Whatever you say. But then I realized it was over ...

2) Inside The Fire

3) The Night

4) Perfect Insanity

5) Haunted

If you do get an itouch however I can help you jailbreak it and you can put third party applications on it (which is a lot of fun I have to admit). Jailbreaking is pretty easy and safe. Apple threatens to take away warrenty but you don't need to worry about that because if something happens, you can restore your ipod real easy.

Well it is kind of self explanatory. Do you like tab or written music better?

I can't really say myself, but it is hard to read tab because there is not a lot of rythems written in. (most actually don't have rythems). I think tab was created just to show the notes, but I think it would be great if people would include rythems...im getting kind of repetive here so ill end this.

Please explain why you like one over the other.
