Hey jeff, I heard you were talking about getting an itouch? Could you explain what you want in an ipod and what your budget is? That way we can help you.

If you do get an itouch however I can help you jailbreak it and you can put third party applications on it (which is a lot of fun I have to admit). Jailbreaking is pretty easy and safe. Apple threatens to take away warrenty but you don't need to worry about that because if something happens, you can restore your ipod real easy.

O ya im looking to get a touch too but i dont have much money. i gues i need the lowest price possible.

Great but for you Joe I would suggest something other than an itouch unless you dont really want to put that much music on your ipod. You can get a really cheap ipod video with TONS more memory than the itouch. But it is all a matter of personal preference I guess.

Ya Val, if it works you don't necessarily need a new one. But Joe runs out of space. He has a 1 Gig nano...barely holds anything.

Kinda....the only problam is you need an internet connection to use the phone or the internet. That is the main thing the iphone ahs over the itouch. With a phone carrier you get internet everywhere (almost). With an itouch you need to be at home or be logged onto a wireless network. But otherwise they are the same (except for the camera). And the itouch is way cheaper.

Exactly. Plus there are a bunch of cool things you can put on your itouch after you jailbreak it. If anyone gets an itouch let me know and I will help jailbreak it. As in I will guide you along the steps so you understand everything.

k guys i filled up my ipod a while ago and now its to the point where i can only have my favorite favorites on there. i have a 2g so i can still have multiple albums for several bands, but its getting tight in there. suggestions for a quick fix? (cheap new ipod, namely not the touch or phone, vouch for ur favorite pod)

Well if you want cheap and a LOT of stoarge get an ipod video. (The old kind). The newer version of the old Video holds 160 Giga bytes! So you can get a smaller one than that for pretty cheap.
