well, the airsoft thread is kinda bout everything with airsoft while this is specific on band stuff but sure ill try :P

well, i was hoping matt would give us some songs that he wants to play a bunch so that we could pick and choose from those cuz i can tell he doesnt rly want to play a7x which i rly want to play but i want to see some of the stuff he wants to play

jeff, i never said i dont want to play a7x. i said i didnt want to sing unholy confessions, that is ONE song. i like scream and other things just fine. and it isnt about what songs i want to play, its a band decision. even if i was to choose i wouldnt want to if the songs i wanted to play would piss you guys off.

i know, it just seems like everyone thinks you should be the ones to decide stuff idk. i would kinda like to play the song Arterial Black - Drist u should look it up and see if u like it. it seems like its in the right genre for is and stuff like that. anyways, i was just asking matt to see what u would like to play cuz u havent suggested songs in a while, well none of us rly have. i htink i suggested a bunch on the fb thing tho. ya, just curious

ya, but joe thinks he has the biggest say on music we play but idk. kinda seemed like u guys were saying he had the most say earlier but w/e. i say we just need to play again for a long time.

that was kinda confusing val with all the double negatives and stuff, but i got the main point. we still rly need to write stuff, and id say thats probably the most important thing to do right now. we still need lyrics (cough cough matt) and music (cough cough joe/me) and drum parts (cough cough val). i think the next sesh we have could be a writing sesh if u will? bring all the materials (lyrics, melodies, rhythms) with you and we should try to write some stuff. that would be alot more productive than just playing boulevard, then BaTH, then toxicity, then getting bored and doing nothing. we should rly focus on writing stuff and see what shit pours out of our brains. will it be good? probably not really, but if we do that every weekend, we will get better at songwriting vs doing nothing right now. so, opinions?
