| Although this might seem like an obvious question to some. What do you guys think the best game for xbox 360/xbox has been in the last 2 years. Personally I am leaning towards COD4 although I dont play the game often I do admire its graphics, gameplay, and reaplay value. Although most people might say Bioshock. I couldnt say Bioshock because I never have owned the game although I do want to get Bioshock II. What do you guys think? | |

| I am kind of with you, cod4 replay is awesome. I have not gotten tired of it yet and I have spent more then 5 gametime days on it. As for the ultimate game? I don't know...I would have to say...it is a tie inbetween oblivion and cod. Now it seems I am just saying cod because it is a new game and everything (or well relativly new), but it is mainly because I don't have that many games to choose from. | |

| Although bioshock is amazing the first time (ive heard) I would imagine it would get somewhat repetetive after the first time because it's all campaign. I think the key lies in the game that provides most entertainment for the longest amount of time . I think that lies in Halo 3 or COD4, (maybe vegas2 or GOW I wouldnt know), but before you say "What!?!?!" for those who don't like Halo3 just hear me out. Halo 3 is a candidate because of the long often difficult (yet satisfying) campaign and achievments to match. There is also a great multiplayer option, whether you do LAN or online it provides many hours of entertainment. The best features that provides replayability in my opinion are forge and custom games. this way there are always new things being made to switch things up a bit, and human creativity provides great gameplay. You can also spend many hours making your own maps and delight in the satisfaction of being complemented by xbox live (and real) friends on your creativity and forge prowess. Custom games also provide a non competetive (or competetive if desired) atsmosphere ideal for a relaxed gamer. Now onto COD4. PS they also release new maps every so often which enrich the custom game and forge options.
COD4 is a good candidate because it renews its multiplayer with prestige mode. It also gives incentive to increase your rank because of the different challenges able to be completed. Challenges unlock new things so there is an incentive to take direction in your gameplay. Also you can customize your classes which improves your gameplay experience and helps you enjoy your game even more. Campaign is also fun because of the same reasons as Halo3.
Both COD4 and Halo 3 have amazing graphics. Review the options and post your response I am eager to hear your opinions.
PS - Christian you would be proud I didn't swear once.

| Nice scott. I could not agree more, but I would like to add: One down side of cod is it is only 1 player campaign, and only one player on an xbox (except for the split screen which is kind of stupid). | |

| I agree (i must have forgot to mention that). also I have to add that at the moment I am really sick of Halo 3 but that is due to the countless hours I have played it. im talking probably a week or more (almost for sure more) of playing time. | |

| Hmmmmmm.....this is puzzling me. However, I've come up with the final decision. Plz dont be upset as this is only my opinion. I'm splitting it up into different categories though:
Campaign Winner: COD4! This campaign mode has amazing graphics and has unique split storyline that was really fun to progress through. One side being the S.A.S. in which you follow a more sneaky approach with silenced weapons and are a part of the European special forces. The other part is the USMC where you are running through buildings carelessly killing terrorists and using louder and more powerful forces (tanks and javelins). SPOILER AHEAD!!!!!!: both people die in the end of both campaigns. The coolest part (in my opinion) was when you're on the ground and you are given a gun that your buddy slid over to you and shoot the "Big Bad Guy" and then pretty much save the day; you die shortly afterwards.
Multiplayer:
Online: Halo 3!!!: This game (probably one of the most anticipated games of all time) has the courtesy of having guest players that play with you online in your gaming experience. Many detailed maps with scattered weapons are the perfect habitat of death in this game. Although the annoying shields that cause you to shoot people for 5 secs or so before finally dieing, this game has been played by many teens around the US and is continuing to come out with new maps ASAP.
At home/Co-op: Rainbow Six Vegas 2!!!!: This game is more on the tactical side and is exceptionally fun to plan your tactics with a friend about invading and clearing a room. This game is very different from Halo in that you practically have no shields whatsoever. Two shots on realistic and you're dead! This however makes gameplay much more intense than all the previous games (especially when turning up the volume)! The customization wins by a long shot from all the other games as well. You can make your person look like practically whatever you want him to. Myself and Matt made him look like a terrorist and a contractor (which was funner than I thought it would be) and you can also make him look like a ninja (which you need much higher rank to do so). l \/ Tied for At home/Co-op: Rock Band!!!!!: This game, different from all the others, is a blast to play when the right people are playing together. Singing and drums are the new addition to the gaming experience much think of as Guitar Hero. Drums and singing are also much more realistic than the guitar (actually hitting drums and notes vs pressing little buttons). There are many very good songs for Downloadable Content that are worth the price (I'll probably be buying some soon). The Band World Tour is really fun, though VERY time consuming, you can create your own virtual band again with great cutomization of characters and instruments. With Band World Tour you make your way through the world playing gigs and dominating the world and becoming the most popular band ever!
RPG's: To Be Continued... (I'm buying a bunch of them this weekend and will rate them here) | |

| I like Oblivion and Bioshock looks cool. Mass Effect sucks my MIGHTY OAK. Do not buy it. Even look at gameplay on youtube I can anticipate that it looks(on youtube) as bad as the game plays. | |

| Ugh. Mass effect is cool to me but i like RPGs. BUt i think Oblivion is my definate number one. Definate. Because there is just so much to do. You can play for hundreds of hours and still not have covreed nearly half the game. It doesnt get boring. | |
