Did you watch it or what? It's much more based on machine guns and semi-auto guns. Shotgun and sniper were the main weapons in gears 1. It's going to be different. It's still gears, but majorly revised. The first gears' multiplayer they didn't really focus on. They've focused on this one. IT IS GOING TO BE DIFFERENT (and by that meaning BETTER).

um yeah jeff hate to break it to you but its a series. they arent going to just change the gameplay. granted its not the exact same otherwise they wouldnt sell another copy of the game, but its not going to change as much as you say it is.

and idk this for sure but arent there semi snipers and shotguns in gears I? and they didnt seem to be the main weapons to me, you always told me to use the lancer. and so i did. again im not sure bout the semi part but yeah.

ya jeff... similar. u have to admit... i mean improved lancer doesnt mean everyones gonna use it. Whatever. The graphics dont look too amazing though...

I think the gameplay will be like campaign gameplay vs the 1st gears multiplayer (which I felt was based around shotguns). Thats what it looks like to me.

WTF?! How much more clear can that be?!?! I felt gears 1 gameplay was based around shotguns and matt, I never told you to use the lancer. The lancer sucked in the first game. Stopping power is limiting the shotgun people alot in gears 2 (that means when you get shot you slow down). Also, grenades look like there going to play a bigger part. Is everyone just convinced its gonna suck or something? It's like you don't want it to be better. ITS GOING TO BE BETTER! Ok? Using people as shields automatically makes it 10 times better for me. It looks like its going to be more focused on midrange combat vs close range.

Yup. I would like at least one of you with xbox's to get it. I think its gonna be pretty fun. I feel Christian's very unsure if wanting it at all. Probably for the campaign if anything. I have no idea what scott or tom think about it but w/e. I just don;t want to be alone. But if all else fails, I have my friend in NJ who would willingly except me into his clan.

I think its gonna be good. It looks like a lot of fun and none of you agree. Its kinda frustrating. Mind you, I don't like Bioshock which I could tell p1ssed christian off.
