| Well it is kind of self explanatory. Do you like tab or written music better?
I can't really say myself, but it is hard to read tab because there is not a lot of rythems written in. (most actually don't have rythems). I think tab was created just to show the notes, but I think it would be great if people would include rythems...im getting kind of repetive here so ill end this.
Please explain why you like one over the other. | |

| umm... well if you know the song its pretty easy to tell the rhythms. For guitar anyway. But ya i see your point for bass. But for guitar, tab is def. dominant. I dont know ANY guitarist, besides classical, that reads sheet. Not even, like, my grandpa. And hes OLD. | |

| Ya a ton easier to read. But his got me to thinking... When we put our band together and if we make some songs, are we going to write it in tab? | |

| i write in tabs but thats just getting the basics down. if anyone wants to transpose that's fine. and for bass parts and picking parts i can write them in staff. | |

| its just a form of...music sheets? Like with out the lines it just tells you what notes to play and no rythems. | |

| Well Joe, for guitar it is really easy finding tab. For bass there is a ton less, and then there is 6 string, 5 string, and 4 string...So that makes the tab I can get a lot harder to find. So i find all my tab online, and it has tons a songs joe, it is not limited at all, in fact I would definitly say that there is more online tab than book tab. | |
